Thanks for buying a ticket to join us for the Community Hack Day!

First things first - the full address in East Williamsburg (Brooklyn): you'll want to join us at Hex House Studio, which is one block from Grimm Ales. The studio is a creative maker space that keeps their address private for safety and security, so please don't share it publicly!

We're technically "sold out" -- which means we're ordering a few extra tables and chairs so we have room for you all. If you've got friends and acquaintances, yes, it's fine, they can come join.

Bring your laptops! If you've got a power bar / extension cord kicking around, please bring that too.

The day is going to be very self organized: we have lots of great people with lots of great experience and also lots of enthusiastic people who want to share, learn, get involved and experiment.

You can literally just come and experiment with some apps like Leaflet Publications, Smoke Signal Events, Streamplace, Skylight Video, Spark, learn some no-code tools like a Graze feed builder and many more things!

And yes, you can also get straight to hacking and get help from others. What can you ship by end of day for evening demos???

We'll run a lightweight introductions and interest session to kick things off.

  • join us at 10am

  • lunch is included

  • we'll break around 4-5pm and get prepped for the evening event

  • 6pm evening start, pizza, drinks, socializing (locals, invite your friends)

  • we'll include absolutely all apps and demos that show up and get a recording -- thanks to Streamplace for this and for being our sponsor

  • we'll have a few longer presentations and deep dives
